By accessing or using RecipeOS (including our web platform, interactive cook mode timelines, and pantry features), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptable Use & Conduct
RecipeOS is provided for personal, non-commercial culinary use. Users agree not to:
- Attempt to scrape, overload, or disrupt our recipe data APIs or web services.
- Bypass rate limits, reverse-engineer proprietary algorithms, or exploit system vulnerabilities.
- Upload harmful code, inappropriate imagery, or malicious files via Pantry AI scanning interfaces.
2. Recipe Content & Intellectual Property
All structured recipe data, custom timelines, step-by-step instructions, and visual branding assets within RecipeOS are protected under copyright and intellectual property laws:
- Personal License: We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive license to view and execute recipes for personal meal preparation.
- Attribution: Open-source ingredients and baseline recipe formats retain their respective public domain or Creative Commons licenses as detailed in our Licenses page.
3. Kitchen Safety & Dietary Disclaimers
RecipeOS provides timer recommendations, temperature guidelines, and ingredient measurement calculations. Cooking involves heat, hot oil, knives, and food safety factors.
Always verify internal food temperatures, check ingredient allergen labels, and exercise caution when operating kitchen appliances. RecipeOS is not liable for kitchen injuries, foodborne illness, or failed recipes.
4. Account Responsibilities
If you register a profile on RecipeOS, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity conducted under your account.
5. Service Availability & Modifications
We continuously update RecipeOS to enhance cooking timelines, add recipes, and improve performance. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with or without notice.
6. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with standard international software distribution principles and applicable local regulations.
